Best Spicy Bloody Mary Recipe That You Need To Try

Warning: If you order your wings mild, you should probably skip this blog. Keep calm and carry on with a Classic Bloody Mary.

Bloody Marys are synonymous with bold, savory, spicy flavors. But we’re kicking it up a few (actually, many) notches with the best spicy Bloody Mary recipe. This is for anyone who uses Tabasco as frequently as salt. It’s for the person whose table is never set without sriracha. It’s for, yes, the person who’s literally got hot sauce in their bag.

Without further ado, here’s the recipe—try it out, and when you’ve recovered from the heat, let us know what you think!

Ingredients:
Lime, cut into wedges
Demitri’s Original Rimshot Rim Salt
6-8 ounces tomato juice (recommended: V8 Spicy Hot 100% Vegetable Juice)
2 teaspoons Demitri’s Chilies & Peppers Bloody Mary Seasoning
1-2 ounces vodka (check out your local liquor store for infused varieties that really amp up the spice)
Ice
Garnish (recommended: pepperoni straws, Blaze’s Beans, sliced jalapeños, shishito peppers)

Directions:

  1. Gently moisten the rim of a 12- to 16-ounce glass with the lime wedge, then press into a saucer of Demitri’s Rimshot Garnishing Salt. 
  2. Combine Demitri’s Bloody Mary Seasoning with tomato juice, vodka, and ice in a cocktail shaker and roll between another shaker or glass to gently blend all the ingredients.
  3. Pour the mixture into the glass and garnish. 
  4. Squeeze the lime wedge onto the top of the drink and serve.

Remember: If you’re not sweating, add an extra dash of your favorite hot sauce. It’s summer anyway.
